I'd asked Russia to start to move south with his land armies and bump into Romania (Turkey) to prevent Turkey from stopping me getting into Serbia.
What's interesting here is that Austria came back alive for a turn and tried to get into Serbia whilst Turkey was the one AFK now. I was able to support my own army into Serbia from my Greece stronghold.
Russia was slightly nervous about attacking Turkey at this time because he was previously allied with him. I think after I'd given him the options and came up with a plan, I swayed him away from his "alliance".
Meanwhile, my Naples fleet moved into position to get Tunisia next turn.
Originally, I'd asked Germany to help with Russia and myself taking Austria and Turkey. He hadn't replied so I'd assumed he was not playing or had problems of his own to deal with. Once I saw him moving south, I sent him a message asking what he was going for and he informed me he was going for Vienna. That was fine by me, Russia and I purposely left it for him as a bargaining chip so he wouldn't attack either of us whilst we were campaigning southeast.
