It was also after the first move that I got a message from Austria saying that he wanted to work with me for the Lepanto - 2 Italian fleets to help me get to Turkey fast. And my army in Tunis to convoy to the Turkish mainland. The message came just a bit too late and I was already out of position.
My thinking was that I could help Austria with his plans as well as try something crazy with France: I was going to go through Marseilles (without taking it in the Fall) to get up to Burgundy and be ready in Tyrolia to attack Munich. France would help me and we could take Germany together.
But as you can see from the map, France NMRd. Really disappointed now.
I'm completely out of position for the Lepanto and can't possibly work with France. It's time to cut my losses and have a rethink.
