I figured it'd slow him down a little against his fast moving. And I'm in a better position to take Brest and at least have a region with no-one (except England, my ally) against my back. I can also retreat my Munich unit to an equally good position.
And now I'm getting frenzied messages from Austria and England about the eastern powers:
Italy,Will you be assisting Austria. He won't be able to withstand both Turkey and Russia. Without Austria there, you might have nothing to defend against Turkey.EnglandAnd from Austria:
Italy, if you support Vienna to Trieste and move Silesia to Galicia to cut his support, then we might have a chance against Russia and Turkey.I'm starting to think they're right. I hate to have wars on all sides, splitting up my troops but I think I'm going to have to in order to stop the east from running over Austria right into me.
England, Italy and Austria - a new alliance?
I'll agree to their plans for now. I just worry that Germany and Russia have been talking. If it's us 3 against Russia, Germany and Turkey, then I think we're in trouble. If it's us 3 against Russia and Turkey, against Germany, we have a chance. I seem to be the only one of the alliance to be trying to attack all 3. Austria is almost alone against 2 and England is flailing.
